About Providence

I have played at many events at Providence Country Estate over the years, and I know the walk from the Forest Chapel to the clubhouse well enough to plan the whole night’s sound around it.

Providence Country Estate sits among the pines at Nottingham Road and is run by Fern and Kevin, who cook for it themselves. Catering is in-house rather than brought in, which is unusual for a Midlands venue and it shows in how the evening is paced.

The Forest Chapel seats 150 in wooden pews, and the reception takes 180. Between them are the croquet lawn and canapé area for the hour after the ceremony, plus a bridal suite and a groom’s suite for getting ready on site.

The clubhouse is the part most couples underestimate. It is a separate space for the after-party, so when the reception room winds down the night does not have to — it just moves.

The forest chapel

Pines swallow sound. The ceremony gets its own system placed for the trees rather than the room, so readings from the front pew still reach the back.

Croquet lawn to reception

Canapés outside then dinner inside is two different sound problems in one afternoon. Both get their own setup so nothing is being moved while guests are standing there.

The clubhouse after-party

Moving a party to a second room can kill it. I plan the handover so the energy carries across rather than resetting to zero in a colder space.

Where do we even start?! Jarryd and his beautiful wife and assistant, Emma, absolutely crushed it at our wedding at Providence Country Estate on 5 July 2025. We honestly can’t imagine the day without them.

From the moment we first met and chatted with Jarryd, we knew we were in good hands. He just got us — our vibe, our style, our music tastes — and somehow managed to turn all of that into a night that was fun, emotional, and absolutely electric.

The ceremony sound was perfect, speeches went off without a hitch, and the party... wow. The dance floor was on FIRE all night. Jarryd read the room like a pro — mixing old-school classics, new bangers, and those sneaky favourites we didn’t even know we needed.

What really stood out, though, was his energy. Jarryd isn’t just a DJ — he’s a total vibe curator. He made us feel so relaxed and looked after. No stress, no drama, just smooth sailing and good times. The cherry on top for me was being able to get behind the DJ booth for a quick "mock" set!

As an additional touch, we used the photobooth, which Emma managed like a pro. She made all the guests feel super at ease, and the photos were absolutely stunning, capturing all the love and laughter that was the essence of our special day.
