Welcome to KZN Wedding DJ — a Durban-based wedding entertainment brand owned and founded by me, Jarryd Sunkel. Since launching my career in 2003, I have spent 23 years crafting unforgettable wedding celebrations across KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa.

As a KZN Midlands Wedding DJ working Nottingham Road and the surrounding farms, my passion is making sure every couple and their guests enjoy a night filled with incredible music, seamless flow and unforgettable memories — complete with sore feet from dancing the night away.

With deep expertise in wedding music, sound and lighting, I bring professionalism and energy to every event. My background as a professional wedding MC, and my experience in Toastmasters competitions, lets me confidently host and manage your celebration with warmth, charisma and precision.

Though based in Durban, I perform as a Midlands wedding DJ most weekends, with Nottingham Road being one of my favourite destinations. The KZN Midlands has truly become a second home, with regular performances at Netherwood, Brahman Hills, Fordoun, Granny Mouse, Providence Country Estate, Haycroft Farm, The Groves and The Gallery.

My services also extend across Ballito, the Drakensberg, and both the North and South Coasts of KZN, as well as to other major South African cities. When I am not available, I am proud to recommend a select network of professional DJs in the KZN Midlands who share the same standard.
