Providence Country Estate sits among the pines at Nottingham Road and is run by Fern and Kevin, who cook for it themselves. Catering is in-house rather than brought in, which is unusual for a Midlands venue and it shows in how the evening is paced.
The Forest Chapel seats 150 in wooden pews, and the reception takes 180. Between them are the croquet lawn and canapé area for the hour after the ceremony, plus a bridal suite and a groom’s suite for getting ready on site.
The clubhouse is the part most couples underestimate. It is a separate space for the after-party, so when the reception room winds down the night does not have to — it just moves.
