About Fordoun
Fordoun is a boutique hotel and spa on a working farm at Nottingham Road, built around historic stone buildings that have been there for generations. It is one of the more grown-up settings in the Midlands — less barn, more country estate.
The stone walls and beamed ceilings do a lot of the work before anything is dressed. Add the panoramic Drakensberg views from the grounds and you have a venue that photographs well in almost any weather, which in the Midlands is not a small thing.
Guests stay on site in boutique hotel rooms or self-catering cottages, and the spa means the day before is as looked-after as the day itself. Capacity depends on which spaces you take, so ask them for the current wedding brochure.
